Tanner Hirschfeld is a campaign veteran, having worked in nearly every role across more than thirty races at every level of government, from school board to U.S. Senate. As a general consultant, he has steered campaigns all over the country and delivered wins, whether flipping deep-blue suburban counties or winning contested primaries and conventions in safe red districts.
Tanner specializes in successfully cutting through the noise to reach voters even while being heavily outspent by the opponent, but also has experience effectively saturating the largest media markets with multi-million dollar budgets.
While Kara handles the digital and marketing aspects of campaigns, Tanner handles the general consulting and delivers award-winning voter contact strategy across direct mail, live calls, and texting, as well as polling and modeling to ensure you’re reaching the right voters with your message.
On top of his experience consulting and managing campaigns, Tanner spent three years as a Chief of Staff in the Virginia House of Delegates, crafting and advancing legislation, advising votes, working with stakeholders, and running the Delegates’ offices.
A lifelong Virginian, Tanner was born and raised in Portsmouth and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He and Kara reside in Fairfax Station with their three children.
